About

The Bio-Grid is the leading anti-microbial ceiling system for operating rooms, patient rooms, procedure rooms, clean rooms, surgical centers, and laboratories.

The Bio-Grid System was developed out of the concern from one of the Nation's leading hospitals that the current ceiling systems offered in the market did not meet the needs for the modern procedure rooms.

In the past, these rooms would have one of the following three types of ceilings:

    Gypsum Board: a non-accessible ceiling
Stick Built: a non-durable, light duty, out-of-date, clean room grid with a Mylar or Tedlar coating.
Heavy-duty welded grid system with metal panels. Although these systems work well, they are not re-configurable in the field, they must have a soffit in the room to work and they are expensive with a long lead time.

Thus, we were given the task to create a grid system that was:

    Accessible
    Heavy-duty
    Easy to install
    Affordable
    "Wall-to-Wall" design = no soffits
Short lead times = 2-3 weeks
Easy reconfiguration to meet unexpected field conditions
Compatiable with any manufacturer's diffusers and lights

With these features in mind, the Bio-Grid was developed.

The Bio-Grid system is a heavy duty reconfigurable clean room ceiling developed by installing contractors that offers optional accessories such as lights, diffusers, plenums, and other items to facilitate the installation process.

Today, the Bio-Grid is installed throughout the United States and Canada in the following hospitals:
